Octopus Salad: a tasteful recipe, quite easy to make. Just respect the right cooking time, and it will perfect!
I have used a precooked frozen octopus, which requires less cooking time. Plunge in a pot of boiling water and cook it for 30 minutes. Drain and let cool, unless you want a warm salad.
Meanwhile, fill a pot with water, then add salt and the potatoes (peel-on), and boil.
Chop the potatoes or cut them in wedges and prepare the salad that would be seasoned with oil, salt, parsley and garlic.
If you dont’t find a precooked octopus, consider 50 minutes of cooking any kg of octopus.
To avoid it turning too hard, freeze the octopus and thaw before cooking. If you cook it fresh, it will result too hard.
